    Abstract: 這是呂炳川教授在民國五十六年八月三十一號在新竹縣五峰鄉大隘村的賽夏族矮靈祭當中所拍的照片。從照片當中可以看得出來當時的祭場規模還不大，所以在歌舞的族人在場地當中還圍了兩圈。矮靈祭是三天三夜通宵達旦的活動，這張照片是已經到了天亮的時候的照片，所以光線看起來必較充分。在祭場當中看到有不少沒有穿著傳統服飾的族人和外來的參與者也在其中歌舞，也表示這段歌舞是可以容許其他人參與的。
