    Abstract: 以若干人唯一組，取聚會所內聖爐中之火炬一把，手持聖火步入集會場，將火炬（象徵生命）堆置於神樹前，再殺小豬一隻（頭目第一刀，其他各氏族長隨後加入）。戰祭，是阿里山鄒族全體總動員的年度盛事，祭典的意義，主要是向天神表示他們的敬意，古時並有祈求征戰勝利與部落團結的深意。戰祭，是阿里山鄒族全體總動員的年度盛事，祭典的意義，主要是向天神表示他們的敬意。
