    Abstract: 這是台東縣卑南鄉南王村（現今為台東市南王里）一戶卑南族人的家屋。這種家屋的建築型態主要構築的材料為刺竹，牆壁的刺竹支架之間用黃土加上稻草來塗上，這是傳統卑南族家屋的建築型態。在庭院中還可以看的到，那顆樹是毛柿（kayama）。卑南族的建築最特別的是他的會所建築，雖然與鄒族同為會所，但是還配合社會制度的年齡階級組織，分別設立青年會所與少年會所，因此建築類型是與社會組織密切相關。
