Abstract: Young people's health is important. Therefore, possibilities in the use of the Internet for improving young people's health have been explored by researchers. This study examined whether two subscales of the Health Belief Model, perceived severity and perceived susceptibility, are associated with the usage of health information inquiry through the Internet. The proposed model was empirically investigated by using survey data collected from 120 young people. Overall, the obtained results show that perceived susceptibility and perceived severity were found to be significant predictors of young people's acceptance of health information inquiry.
