    摘要: 本研究探討台南縣國中生對自然災害的識覺,及在不同背景下面臨自然災害的識覺反應差異,以分層隨機抽樣方式對台南縣15所國中1,330位同學做問卷調查,主要結果如下:1. 對災害成因特性的識覺,以地震的認知最高,其次為土石流、洪水及颱風。對災害時間特性識覺,以颱風認知最高,7.0以上大地震認知最低。2. 對災害最常發生地區的識覺,和實際情形略有出入。在災害作用及可被預防控制的識覺,和實際情形符合。3. 面臨災害的識覺反應,不同背景中僅在性別上有顯著差異,男優於女。在恐懼感方面,依序是地震、土石流、洪水及颱風。4. 調適行為調查結果為積極,會自己想辦法離開災區。資訊來源排名依次為電視收音機、學校及電腦網路。5. 對政府防救災滿意度偏普通到不滿意者有三項如救援速度、實質補償及防災工程。不同背景中僅在升學性向及地區兩項有顯著性。
    This study is to explore the hazard perception of junior high school students in Tainan County, and the difference of their responses to the natural hazards under different backgrounds. The questionnaire surveys are conducted by 1,330 students sampled from 15 junior high schools in Tainan. The main findings of this study are as follows.1. The perception percentage of hazard mechanisms is highest for earthquake, then debris flow, flood and typhoon. The perception percentage of temporal hazard characteristics is highest for typhoon and lowest for earthquake.2. Perception of spatial hazard characteristics for most students is slightly different from the real situation. In contrast, perception of hazard forcing and control for most students is similar to the real situation.3. Perception of response to hazards under different backgrounds is found with significant differences only in the gender, and the male performed better than the female. The fear for hazards from high to low is ordered as earthquake, debris flow, flood, and typhoon.4. Adaptation behavior to hazards is “positive”, which suggests that students will try a solution to leave the hazard area. The information resources are mainly from television, radio, school, and network.5. Most students chose levels of normal to dissatisfaction for responses of government to hazards on terms of rescue speed, substantive compensation, and hazard prevention construction. Background analysis shows a significant difference among schools with intention for further education and locations.
