This study mainly aims to explore the identity, recognition, and participating depth of HsinKang community residents toward the Matsu cultural festivals. Aiming at HsinKang community residents for the study, a total of 330 questionnaires were issued, and 300 valid questionnaires were counted. The effective response rate is 90.9%. The Statistical Analysis adopts Reliability Analysis, Descriptive Statistics, Person Correlation, and Chi Square Test. The results of Statistical Analysis are as follows:1. Participation Attitude & Identity Correlation Analysis: Three layers of Participation Attitude are Participating Recognition, Participating Affection, and Participating Behavior. These three layers of Participation are correlated with two other layers: recognition of culture festivals activities, personal experiences of culture festivals activities. Base on Person Correlation Analysis, the result comes toward the prominent positive correlation. Therefore, the Participation Attitude and Identity Correlation of community residents shows the positive correlation, which matches the research hypothesis.2. In the meantime, the occupation, education level, and religion make the prominent differences on the Participating Behavior aspect. However, there is no any differences found on the basic attribute of community residents group on the Participating Recognition.(2) According to the Participation Attitude Analysis for the basic attribute of different community residents group, we found that the education level plays the big role and makes the prominent differences on the aspect of recognition of culture festivals activities, and the religion aspect makes the big differenceon the personal experiences of culture festivals activites. The results of Participation Attitude & Identity Differentiation Analysis matchthe research hypothesis.
