本研究旨在探討嘉義地區醫療志工靈性健康與死亡態度之相關情形，採用問卷調查法，以「醫療志工靈性健康與死亡態度量表」為研究工具，研究對象為嘉義地區的醫療志工，正式樣本採取配額抽樣，共發出470份，有效問卷為350份，回收率為83%。問卷資料以SPSS for 12.0套裝軟體進行描述性統計、t檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關及多元迴歸分析等統計方法分析資料，研究結論如下：一、不同背景變項之醫療志工其靈性健康有部份差異(一)不同性別、宗教信仰、服務年資、服務部門、醫院型態之醫療志工在靈性健康上有顯著差異。(二)不同年齡、婚姻狀況、教育程度、職業、接觸臨終經驗之醫療志工在靈性健康上無顯著差異。二、不同背景變項之醫療志工在死亡態度上都有顯著差異。三、嘉義地區醫療志工之靈性健康與部份死亡態度呈顯著相關。四、嘉義地區醫療志工之靈性健康與背景變項對死亡態度具有顯著的預測力 根據本研究發現與結論，提供醫療院所志工管理單位及醫療志工具體建議，以作為後續研究之參考。 This study is an investigation of the relationship between spiritual health and death attitude of medical volunteers in Chiayi area. A self-developed questionnaire “Spiritual Health and Death Attitude of Medical Volunteer Scale” was conducted on medical volunteers in Chiayi area. With quota sampling technique, 470 questionnaires were sent out and the return rate reached 83%. Through SPSS, T-Test, ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis, the following conclusions are secured.1.Demographic variations in spiritual health were evident among medical volunteers.(A)A significant difference was found in the spiritual health among those medical volunteers of different sexes, religions, seniority, departments and hospital types.(B)No significant difference was found in the spiritual health among those medical volunteers of different,age, marital statuses, education levels, occupations and different contact experiences with the dying.2.A significant difference was found in the death attitudes among medical volunteers of different backgrounds.3.A significant correlation was found between spiritual health and death attitude.4.High predictability of spiritual health and background characteristics of the respondents for death attitude was found. On the basis of the research results, viable suggestions are made to the medical volunteers and the related organizations on the one hand and for the future studies on the other.Keywords: medical volunteer, spiritual health, death attitude
