本研究旨在探討嘉義縣國小教師之來生信念與生命態度,採問卷調查方式,進行量化分析,研究工具乃採用蔡明昌、歐慧敏(2008)編制之「大學生來生信念量表」及謝曼盈(2003)之「生命態度量表」為施測工具,並以 127 所嘉義縣公立國民小學為母群體,依教師比例隨機抽取有效樣本454人,獲致結論如下:一、教師傾向相信來生,接受「因果報應」和「非關道德的自然法則」,認為來生將轉化為「其他能量」或「投胎輪迴」二、女性教師比男性教師更相信「死後審判」和「因果報應」三、「26-30歲」教師比其他年齡的教師不相信來生存在四、不同宗教類別的教師,其來生信念有顯著差異五、宗教參與頻率較高的教師,「來生信念」的相信程度也較高六、教師整體生命態度趨向於正向七、女性教師比男性教師有相對正向的生命態度八、教育程度愈高的國小教師具有較為正向的生命自主能力九、具有宗教信仰的教師比無宗教信仰的教師,有更正向的生命態度十、宗教參與頻率較高的教師,有相對正向的生命態度十一、教師的來生信念與生命態度呈現出中低度相關的關係十二、愈不相信死後世界存在,認為「非關道德的自然法則」決定死後境遇的教師,其生命態度有相對較低的趨勢,死亡態度較為負向十三、相信來生存在的教師,其生命態度相對正向 The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between afterlife beliefs and attitude toward life of elementary school teachers in Chaiyi County. In order to achieve the purpose mentioned above, a questionnaire survey method was conducted. This study reviewed literatures and took " Afterlife Beliefs Scale" and " Life Attitude Scale" as measurement tools for collecting data. The stratified random sampling was adopted in the questionnaire of this study. The population of this study included teachers in 127 elementary schools in Chaiyi County and the effective samples were 454 elementary school teachers.The conclusions of this study include:1.The teachers intend to believe the afterlife, the retributive justice and the laws of nature. Moreover, they consider that people will face the samsara or transform into other kind of energy in afterlife.2.More female teachers believe the judgment and retributive justice than male teachers.3.Teachers at the age between 26 and 30 have minor believe in the afterlife than teachers at other age.4.The difference of belief in the afterlife is significant among teachers with different religions.5.Teachers with higher participation rate of religious activities have stronger belief in the afterlife.6.Teachers as a whole are apt to have positive attitude toward life.7.Female teachers relatively have more positive attitude toward life than male teachers.8.Teachers with higher education level have more positive life autonomy.9.Teachers with religious beliefs have more positive attitude toward life than those who without religious beliefs.10.Teachers with higher participation rate of religious activities have more positive attitude toward life.11.The relationship between afterlife beliefs and attitude toward life of elementary school teachers shows a low to moderate correlation.12.Teachers who don’t believe the afterlife and consider “the laws of nature decision mechanism” have a relatively low trend of attitude toward life and negative attitude toward death.13.Teachers who believe in the afterlife have relatively positive attitude toward life.
