本研究旨在探索國中學生之地獄觀,主要目的包含:探討地獄之構成要素、探討國中學生之地獄觀現況及探討影響國中學生地獄觀之主要因素為何。本研究採取文獻探討及實地訪談等方法進行。本研究先經由文獻探討得出前導訪談大網,並以之進行前導研究,之後再依據前導研究之結果並結合文獻,從而得出正式訪談大綱,並進行正式研究。本研究之研究對象包含新竹縣、苗栗縣、台中市及南投縣等四縣市,12所公私立國民中學之46名個案,取樣方式則以立意取樣及滾雪球方式進行。 本研究之研究結果如下:一、構成地獄之要素有三:受苦、特殊時空環境、罪罰觀。此三大要素由文獻探討歸納而來,經前導研究及正式研究,地獄三大要素已獲得初步驗證。二、國中學生之地獄觀有下列五項特性:(一)多元文化的地獄觀、(二)因罪受罰、(三)受苦之所、(四)特殊時空、(五)半生熟的地獄觀。三、影響國中學生地獄觀之主要因素有二:宗教與文化。四、地獄為一正義之所。五、國中學生之地獄類型可依其宗教信仰(包含佛教、基督教及民間信仰等)區分為不同地獄觀。此外,研究者亦嘗試以地獄三大要素為取向,從而得出四型地獄觀。 This study explored the imagination of the hell of junior high school students. It contains three main purposes: to investigate the constituent elements of hell, explore the status of the imagination of the hell of junior high school students and explore what is the main factors affect the imagination of the hell of junior high school students. This study adopted the method of literature review and field interview. This study draw an interview outline of pilot study through the literature review which advanced the pilot study. The interview outline of formal research was obtained based on the results of the pilot study and literature review which conduct the formal research. The objects were 46 students of 12 different public and private secondary schools from Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Nantou County and Taichung City. Sampling methods included purposive sampling and snowball. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Three elements form the imagination of hell were suffering, special space time environment and the concept of crime and punishment. The three elements were summarized from literature review which had been verified from pilot study and formal research. 2. There are five characteristics of junior high school students’ imagination of hell: (a) multi-cultural concept of hell (b) punished due to the crime (c) suffering (d) special space time environment (E) transformational imagination of hell. 3. The main factors which affect the junior high school students’ imagination of hell were Religion and Culture. 4. Hell makes justice. 5. Junior high school students' imagination of hell was discriminated by their beliefs (including Buddhism, Christianity and folk religion, etc.). Moreover, the researcher tried to draw four types of the imagination of hell through the three elements of hell
