    摘要:   本研究旨在探討佛教臨床宗教師的死亡態度,並希望從研究的結果中進一步瞭解佛教臨床宗教師在佛教生死觀念的基礎下所建立的人生觀、人生目標以及死亡態度為何。正式研究的對象共有五位經台大醫院培訓的正式臨床宗教師,目前都在線上服務。研究方法採質的研究中的深度訪談,以半結構式的晤談指引進行訪談,在將蒐集的資料以開放編碼的方式進行分析。所得的結果如下:1、 佛教臨床宗教師死亡觀念之內容:死亡是人生必然過程、生命是無止盡的輪迴、死亡可視為一個機會、唯有到淨士修行方可暫停輪迴,以及真正的「死亡」並不存在。2、 佛教臨床宗教師的死亡觀念所建立的人生觀:珍惜生命、珍惜緣份,活在當下,放下得失心以及提昇人格。3、 佛教臨床宗教師的死亡觀念所建立的人生目標:培養慈悲心、行菩薩道、廣學多聞,淨化內心,廣結善緣以及唯有修行方能了脫生死。4、 佛教臨床宗教師的死亡觀念所建立的死亡態度:積極,正向、減少死亡恐懼、做好死亡準備、建立死後目標,超克生死。5、 佛教臨床宗教師在臨床服務前與服務後之差異:人間極苦、臨終關懷之種子、善終就要善生、助長道心、無私的愛。6、 臨床經驗中的生死啟示:死是「回家」的路、生死智慧無法從社會學問獲得、生命無常、如何看待生死、吃苦的意義。     最後根據本研究的結果對生命教育,生死教育,對死亡預做準備的方法,以不同宗教的生死觀念做為比較以及未來研究方向五個部份提出具體的建議。
      The aim of this research is to inquire about the death attitudes of the Buddhist Chaplains. And hopefully through this study we could gain an in-depth understanding of the Buddhist Chaplains' conception of death and how it influences their meaning and attitudes of life. Five qualified Buddhist Chaplains were invited to take part in this formal study. Throughout this qualitative research, semi-structured interviews were used for the collection of data, and the content of the interviews was analyzed through open-coding. The main findings of the study was as follows:1、The subjects' views of death are: death is a natural process of life; life is a ceaseless cycles of rebirths; death could be regarded as an opportunity; through rebirth to the pure land one could temperory stop rebirth; and "real death " does not exist. 2、The influence on the meaning of life from the subjects' conception of death are: to cherish life; to cherish relationship; living on the presence; not to haggle about gains and loss and improving one's virtues.3、The influence on the goals of life from the subjects' conception of death are: developing one's compassion and practice the path of bodhisattva; learning in a broader aspects; purifying one's mind; improving inter-personal relationship; and the main path to the end of life and death is to practice the Dharma.4、The influence on the death attitudes of the subject from their conception of death are: positive death's attitudes; decreasing the fear of death; better preparation of death; developing a after-life goal; transcending life and death.5、The difference between before clinical service and after clinical service of the Buddhist Chaplains are : extreme suffering of life, care for the dying , wholesome life leads to good death, spiritual development, selfless compassion。6、Life and death revelations derived from clinical experience are: death is "returning home", philosophy of life and death might not derive from social education, life is impermanence, contemplation on life and death, the meaning of suffering。    Finally, based on the results of this study, the researcher proposes suggestions in life education, life and death education, methods in preparation of death, a comparison on the conceptions of death from the perceptives of different religions, and further-on research.
