The investigation of this thesis was based on my individual creative works of Mandala drawings during the years 2007-10. The aim of this research is to elaborate on the experiences of my life and how the subconsciousness has helped break some of my fossilized and obdurate concepts to fight against the psychological shadows, by means of a series of creative works of Mandala Drawing and records and the individuation process of Jungian analytical psychology, and finally obtain the possible balance of dichotomy. This research is based on the theories of Jungian analytical psychology to elaborate on the path to individuation in which the inner world and the real life are explored in terms of the framework of dream analysis, Mandala drawings and positive thinking. Then the inner spiritual world is explored by means of the unique symbols of Mandala drawings, the problems can be viewed from different perspectives and the hidden meanings can be interpreted from the psychological phenomenon shown in the Mandala drawings. There are four phases in the process of the research.1. the summon shown in dreams 2. the path of training used to disclose the mask and face the shadows3. the return symbolized as the emancipation of thinking4. the living present meant the balance of dichotomy The investigator can have a deeper realization of herself and a better understanding of life through the evolvement of the creative patterns and the elaboration on the self discovery of life stories.
