    Abstract:   席勒的美學理論希冀通過審美教育培養高尚的人格,建立合諧的社會,完成其審美王國的理想。本文藉由席勒的美學代表作《審美教育書簡》、及《論崇高》之詮釋,進而探討其審美教育之哲學理論基礎,最後是討論其理論概念上之困難。本文為求完整性,把席勒之思想史背景視為重要研究項目,其中包括:1. 從席勒的成長背景、求學過程及人生經歷,了解席勒人格的養成。2. 進一步探討席勒所處的時代,那些影響席勒重大思想的一些事件,像是啟蒙運動、狂飆突進運動對其思想之影響。3. 康德《判斷力批判》的美學思想中,對於美的分析與崇高之美等等,觀點影響了席勒的美學觀點,然美與道德的緊密性與關連性兩者看法卻有較大的差異。4. 在自然狀態概念之分析,包含盧梭、康德與席勒的觀點作探討。 5. 由席勒的《美學教育書簡》中,《美育書簡》二十七封信與其附錄的《論崇高》一文,分類出“人性之衝動”、“美與自由的關係”和“論崇高”的觀點去探討其美學觀點。6. 對“自由的遊戲”、“兩個衝動”以及“審美教育”進行批判與討論。7. 對席勒美學之批判。
      In his aesthetics theory Schiller has an attempt to cultivate the person to be high by means of the aesthetic education and to build a society which is harmony, in order to realize kingdom of ideal of aesthetics. Through the interpretation of two works: 《On the Aesthetic Education of Man, In a Series of Letters》 and 《On the Sublime》 I would like to research the philosophical base of his aesthetic education and make a critique to his difficulties in theory. In order to make a complete understanding I see Schiller’s thought in the history as a very important theme in my study: 1. The background of Schiller, the history of his study, through which we can understand how his person is cultivated. 2. To study the age in which Schiller lives and the thought and event which make a great affect to him, for ex. Enlightenment and strum and drang movement. 3. How does the aesthetics in Kant’s 《Critique of Judgment》make an effect on Schiller’s viewpoint and makes a different connection between moral and beauty from him. 4. To analyze the Zustand in Natur. 5. To analyze the passoin in human nature, the relation of freedom to beauty and sublime through which his viewpoint of aesthetic can become understandable. 6. Make critique to the concept of game of freedom and the two passions. 7. A critique to his aesthetics.
