In the various Ming and Qing Dynasties’ “Zheng Meng”commentaries, Qing scholar, Wang Zhi’s “Zheng Meng initial implication”has the status that serves as a link between the past and future. If “Zheng Meng”is the un-neglected literature basis for studying Zhang Zai’s philosophy, then the various Ming and Qing Dynasties’“Zheng Meng” commentaries obviously will be the most able to present the development path for the Ming and Qing Dynasties’thinkers to study Zhang Zai’s Qi theory. Despite the prevalence of Zhang Zai’s philosophy and the Ming and Qing Dynasties’Qi research, and Zhang Zai’s Qi theory being treated as one of the Ming and Qing Dynasties’Qi sources, it is relatively rare to see research on the various Ming and Qing Dynasties’“Zheng Meng” commentaries. In this way, the research trend of “Zheng Meng”in the Ming and Qing Dynasties can be totally ignored, and only the development of Zhang Zai’s Qi theory on the Ming and Qing Dynasties’ philosophy and the impact of Zhang Zai’s Qi theory on the Ming and Qing Dynasties’Qi will be discussed. Is this the formation of the arbitrary and fracture for ideological interpretation? Based on this, the purpose of the program is to apply the “Zheng Meng initial implication”as the main axis to analyze the Qi theory types of the Ming and Qing Dynasties’ “Zheng Meng”commentary. There are five contents expected to be explored in this program: 1. Analyze the Qi theory similarities and differences between “Zheng Meng initial implication”and the various collected commentaries. 2. Explore the interpretation principle, approach and structure of Wang Zhi on the book of “Zheng Meng”.3. Clarify how “Zheng Meng initial implication” and the various collected commentaries develop or criticize Zhang Zai’s “Unity of Heaven and Human Beings”thought on the basis of “theory of material force and mind”.4. Organize the development context of the Ming and Qing Dynasties’“Zheng Meng”ology’.5. Compare the connection, differences or conflicts of “Zheng Meng initial implication”and the Ming and Qing Dynasties’Qi theory scholars on Qi theory, and based on the aforementioned four study result to analyze the Qi theory types of “Zheng Meng initial implication”and the various collected commentaries, and expand contemporary development on Ming and Qing Dynasties’Qi research scope and result.
