    Abstract: 在大學管理領域的課程中,決策分析和量化訓練是重要的學習活動之一,統計學則扮演著關鍵性的角色。修課同學大都來自於非數理背景的社會組,科學思維和數學邏輯訓練與接受度相對較為薄弱。因此,在我們講授此課程時,除了要顧及這些背景以適當引起學習動機之外,在課程設計上則需要讓教材足夠簡單而生活化。除了設計有機率遊戲題材之外,以建立初步的不確定性隨機概念,進而在模擬遊戲的具體操作中,輔以資訊工具Excel的應用,讓同學可以體驗完成之後的量化結果、資訊科技之運用、隨機決策中的風險觀等。生活化的抱怨問題充斥在周遭環境中,我們在管理統計學之授課中,就以兩個相關實例來練習這種類型的管理題材:管理者必需收集客觀的代表性資料、以科學化方法形成有用資訊、來作為有效決策的判斷依據、建立好正確的風險觀等。此外,在遊戲融入的教學過程中,我們試圖帶出資料變異內涵,其中有必然性、隨機性等概念的建立;有分配性、機率值、卡方值等模擬資料的實作和認識。讓同學建立學習自信心、引發興趣、以及在互動討論中完成了統計學課程學習,繼而有統計素養的播種生根,運用在生活當中。我們透過質化資料的整理,反應一些代表性同學的心得分享,並且輔以修課同學的問卷量化統計,適度地呼應我們的研究成果,其間所呈現管理決策與量化科學的思維,也加以討論。
    To promote statistical literacy effectively, this project develops good methods in the course of teaching basic statistics and data analysis in the areas of information management. The course contents are designed in a new way. There are basic statistical problems with data for presentation in various tables and figures, for inference in statistical hypothesis, and for decision-making in a risk sense. By doing these in a likely Problem Based Learning way, students were more interested as well as involved. In addition, information technology, random games with computer simulation, and life-style context integrated in the designed problems do enhance the learning development of statistical literacy. To evaluate the learning performance of students taken these courses, the core concepts of statistical significance, data variation, statistical distribution, p-value, critical value, estimation error, statistical bias, sampling representation are included. The qualitative research is conducted by examining the learning report, survey data along with quantitative anlysis for exploring the evaluation results. In addition, related problems are also discussed.
