兒童看圖說話的過程,不僅代表其本身在圖像中看見了什麼,兒童也在陳述的過程中融入了自身的喜好、感受、聯想等訊息,看圖說話的過程變成為教師得以了解學童所認知世界的好時機。國畫是中國固有且獨一無二的藝術形式,解讀與鑑賞方式與其他藝術種類大不相同,為了解臺灣學童對於傳統國畫解讀能力,本研究邀請了15 位八、九歲學童進行個別「看圖說話」的訪談,學童對於國立故宮博物院所珍藏的國畫《秋庭戲嬰圖》圖像進行觀看、敘說,透過此以兒童遊戲場景為題的圖像,旨在了解學童如何觀看並以故事方式來解讀傳統國畫。研究發現,學童的觀察力與聯想像力是相輔相成的;研究分析也顯示學童之敘事、表說能力有加強的空間;學童對於國畫並不陌生,但卻一知半解;在說故事的過程中,學童會投射自身的經驗、感受、願望、想法等等。依據研究發現,本文進一步提出對於傳統國畫之教育與藝術教育之省思及建議。 Children express what they see and integrate self-preference, feeling as well as association while Show and Tell. It is a good opportunity for educators to explore children’s worlds. Ink and Wash Painting is one of unique art forms which needs to be interpreted and appreciated in a different way. In order to understand Taiwanese children’s visual literacy to Ink and Washing Painting, the researcher invited fifteen elementary school students,eight to nine years old, to join the interviews. The students looked at the image of Children at play in an Autumn Garden, a painting showing the scene of children playing, to do Show and Tell. The findings showed that: children’s association related to their observation abilities; the interviewees needed to enhance the abilities of telling story and verbal expression; the interviewees had a smattering of knowledge about Ink and Wash Painting;children projected their self-experience, feelings, wishes, thoughts and such to the image while Show and Tell.
