    Abstract:   本研究是以中華經典研究學會中部設立之親子讀經班為研究對象,首先分析相關文獻,瞭解國內兒童讀經教育的發展、以及品格教育的意涵與重要性。其次透過研究者的觀察、訪談及文件分析,欲發現中華經典研究學會對兒童讀經的開展,在社區開設親子讀經的經營理念及對品格教育之成效,做為未來相關機構辦理讀經之參考。   研究結果分別依中華經典研究學會對兒童讀經的發展、社區開設親子讀經的經營理念及對品格教育之成效來說明如下:壹、中華經典研究學會培訓大批志工老師,投入在各社區、學校,廣設親子讀經班,以結合「兒童讀經」與「家長成長班」的課程,透過親子共學、結合家長與社區資源的方式,讀經從家庭到社區逐漸擴展起來;期能端正社會善良習俗、弘揚中華固有文化。貳、社區開設親子讀經的經營理念有五項:一、社區親子讀經是溝通家長讀經理念的橋樑二、社區親子讀經是增進家庭教育功能的觸媒三、社區親子讀經是啟動社區教育發展的鑰匙四、社區親子讀經是補救學校缺德教育的良方五、社區親子讀經是傳承中國固有文化的妙法參、開設社區親子讀經對品格教育成效之影響:一、優質的家長理念培育出優美的人格二、優質的家庭教育塑造出端正的品行三、優質的親師聯教培養出高尚的情操四、優質的經典教育陶冶出美好的品格五、優質的文化薰陶孕育出優雅的君子   最後,研究者對教育主管機關、學會、志工老師、家長及有意推動讀經者提出相關的建議。
      This research has been done focusing on the group of people who joining the classics-reciting activity held by Chinese classics research association. Firstly, to analyze relative literature, comprehend the progress at children's education on reciting classics and the importance on personality education. Secondly, through the observation, interview and document analysis, the researcher conveys the managing concept and effect of character education from the reciting classics at the community in order for the related institutions' reference in the future.   The research results in the illustration individually on the progress of children reciting classics, the managing concept for holding parents-children reading classics at community and the effect of character education:I. The Chinese classics research association train lots of volunteer teachers to enter the communities, schools holding parents-children classics reciting classes. To combine the courses of "children reciting classics" and "parents growth on spirit", which lead to the consistently learning both on parents and children and as well as integrate the various social sources into the progress on families and communities. Expecting to enhance the conscience in the society and glorify the Chinese courtesy culture.II. The managing concepts of holding parents-children reading classics at community:1.It's a bridge to communicate with parents about the ideas of reading classics.2.It's a medium to enhance the function at family education.3.It's a key to start the community education.4.It's a good method to remedy the shortage on character education.5.It's a good method to continue the Chinese culture. III. The influence made by the effect of character education from holding the parents-children classics reading. 1.The superior concept from the parents would breed up gentle character. 2.The superior family education would mold honorable behavior.3.The perfect union on parents and teachers would develop nobal mind and thought. 4.The excellent classics education would cultivate superior character.5.The superior culture would breed up graceful gentleman.   Finally, the related suggestions presented by the researcher for the relative educational organization, association, volunteer teacher, parents and people who wish to advance the classics-reciting activity.
