    摘要:   本研究旨在瞭解嘉義縣國民小學新移民子女學校適應現況,並分析嘉義縣不同背景變項之新移民子女對學校適應中學業成就、人際關係及常規適應差異情形。以嘉義縣國民小學新移民子女為施測樣本,「嘉義縣國民小學新民子女學校適應之調查問卷」為研究工具,採立意抽樣方式,正式施測有效樣本172位,分別以平均數、標準差、t考驗及單因子變異數分析等統計方法進行資料分析,研究結果如下: 一、嘉義縣國民小學新移民子女,在整體學校適應、學業成就、人際關係及常規適應等向度的表現良好,尤以常規適應表現較佳。二、嘉義縣國民小學不同性別之新移民子女,在整體學校適應之常規適應的表現上有顯著差異,女生明顯優於男生。三、嘉義縣國民小學不同年級之新移民子女,在整體學校適應之常規適應的表現上有顯著差異,五年級明顯優於四年級。四、嘉義縣國民小學父親教育程度不同之新移民子女,在整體學校適應及各向度上,皆無顯著差異。五、嘉義縣國民小學母親教育程度不同之新移民子女,在整體學校適應及各向度上,皆無顯著差異。   最後,本研究根據上述發現提出建議,以供教育行政機關及未來研究者作為改進國小教育,或進行相關研究之參考。
      This study aims to understand how the foreign spouses’ children of elementary schools in Chiayi County adjust themselves to school lives, by analyzing the variances of different background variables. The definition of school adjustment is divided into three aspects including academic achievement, interpersonal relationship, and the adaptation to school regularities. And the background variables are gender, grade, and parents’ levels of education. There are 172 questionnaires collected with purposive sampling and analyzed with statistical methods including mean value, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The major findings are as follows: 1.The foreign spouses’ children of elementary schools in Chiayi County perform well on the overall school adjustment and its three aspects, especially on the adaptation to school regularities.2.Girls are better than boys on the adaptation to school regularities.3.Fifth-grade students are better than fourth-grade ones on the adaptation to school regularities.4.Father’s level of education is not a significant background variable on the overall school adjustment and its three aspects.5.Mother’s level of education is not a significant background variable on the overall school adjustment and its three aspects.   According to these findings, suggestions can be given to related institutes and researchers for farther educational inquiry and improvement.
