    摘要:   南島文化節是以南島住民社群發展的節慶活動。然而,以原住民文化作為觀光資源來進行發展的同時,除了實現觀光過程中輸出社會之觀光客的需求外,是否同時尊重接收社會之被觀光者?為維持文化的持續性,避免原住民文化在觀光發展過程中遭受吞噬,原住民是觀光發展中最需關注的焦點。基此,本研究旨在瞭解接收社會之成員參與節慶活動的經驗及對此經驗的認知與感受,並探討原住民在節慶活動中參與發展之關係、定位原住民在節慶中角色,進一步勾勒原住民未來在參與發展觀點。    本研究採深入訪談法,研究結果驗證接收社會之成員被動接收的安排,原住民在節慶發展中所扮演的角色是處於被動型的,目前原住民參與發展的情形不佳,節慶活動缺乏原住民理念與聲音,因此也影響了原住民參與節慶活動之意願。    除此之外,研究發現執掌南島文化節的部門共經歷文化局、原行局、旅遊局三次轉換,其主辦單位的概念與意象,確實左右了慶典的走向或內容,導致族群的特色漸趨模糊、商業化的情形出現。雖然如此,節慶能帶動原住民文化發展,得以在內部觀光場域中活絡原住民文化內涵,內外演的區隔,得使族人對展演一事進行有效的對話與溝通。依照原住民對節慶活動之觀感,本研究提出幾項建議與結論本研究提出幾項建議與結論:(1) 未來應提升原住民參與發展,傾聽其建議與聲音;(2) 落實多元文化的教育,增加活動基礎與深度;(3) 活動有賴於平時的積極運作與各單位的資源整合;(4) 活動應強調族群特色,以彰顯南島活動之主體。
      Festival of Austronesian Cultures is development activities of aborigines people. There is a query about when the authority take the aboriginal culture as the resource to develop the tourism, as they accomplish the requirement of deivering society of tourists, do they respect the aborigines of receiving society which have been toured in the same time. However, in order to keep the continuity in culture, escape form it has been engulfed in the progress of tourism, it needs to take the main notice of aborigines which in the development of tourism. On the basis of this reason, the substance of this study would understand the experiences of festival activities and the cognition of the members of receiving society. We use the qualitative search in our study, take an interview of eleven aborigines who attend the festival of Austronesian cultures in depth. It was arranged that aborigines attend the festival in the process of our resarch. The suggests of this study are summarized as frollows :(1) should improve aboriginals and is participated in the future, listen attentively to its proposing and sound; Implement the education of plural culture, increase activity foundation and depth; (3) The activity depends on positive operation and integration of the resources of every unit at ordinary times; (4) The activity should emphasize ethnic characteristic, in order to reflect the subject of the south island activity.
