    Abstract:   由於電腦的普遍應用,各行各業各種訊息的建立、處理、儲存、散播,比以往更為迅速、正確,而且資訊的儲存空間也更為經濟。然而,各機關學校、企業組織在電腦化之前,可以想見的是:各種資料的建立、儲存、傳播,也多是以紙本為主。隨著成立的年代愈久,所累積的紙本式文件數量也愈為可觀;而這些紙本資料在保存上,是極易受自然環境的影響而受損(例如:潮溼、蟲咬、變色、變脆、酸化等等)。在查詢應用上,對於數量這麼龎大的資料,也會有如海底撈針般的辛苦。對於法令規定,本應永久保存的紙本資料,該如何妥善的保存,實是對資料管理者,很嚴苛的考驗及負擔。    為了解決上述的諸多問題,我們提出為這些紙本資料—以國民中學學生學籍卡為例(個案資料採用嘉義縣立民雄國民中學),將其數位化,並開發出這些數位學籍卡管理系統(Digital Student Status Cards Management System,DSSCMS),希望對於需要永久保存的這些學生們的學籍資料:可以有系統的作數位典藏、將來在查詢應用上也能得心應手。
      Due to the widespread use of computers, the build-up, processing, storage and spread of all messages in all walks of life are much more rapid and correct than before. Also, the space of storing the information is more economic nowadays. However, before the spread of computerizing in various organizations and schools, we can infer that build-up, storage and spread of all information were shown by traditional documents. As time goes on, we can imagine a considerable amount of the accumulated documents. Moreover, such traditional documents are easy to be damaged because of certain environmental factors such as humidity, insects influence, fading out, crisping and acidification. When it comes to query and application of the information, we would spend more time on such large amount of information. Due to the regulation, we should keep such traditional documents permanently. However, how to preserve it well is a heavy burden and also a harsh test for document keepers.    To solve the above problems, we develop a Digital Student Status Cards Management System (DSSCMS). In this system, we illustrate an example of junior high school student status cards, which adopts the sample from Min-Syong Junior High School in Chiayi County. The DSSCMS can help do permanent digital archive of students’ status cards. Also, it would be much more convenient in query student information.
