Abstract:	藉由竹製產業的興衰與發展過程，了解竹製家具產業的現況與困難處。竹製產業因工業化的進步與勞工工資的上漲造成產業技術外移，經由國外低成本製造回銷台灣境內，打擊本土竹製產業，及逐漸被其他工業化產品所取代，是造成竹製產業衰退之主因。居家空間也因建築空間規劃與生活型態之改變，使得竹製家具的使用逐漸被忽視。　　　　現代主義的興起影響了社會型態與建築形式，進而發展出建築與室內設計分工。室內設計的設計原則包含了空間及家具的分配，說明家具也是室內設計中重要的一環並延伸出室內空間與家具之間的關係。為此本研究將探討複合材質之竹製家具於現代居家環境的合宜性而進行研究。　　　　本研究藉由問卷調查及設計分析評估進行研究，結果顯示：　1、受測者對於新式的複合竹製家具接受度很高，　2、在不同風格的居住空間裡搭配複合材質之竹製家具是合適的。　　By the rise and fall of bamboo industry development, we can realize the now situation and difficulties the bamboo industry faced. 　　　　　Because of the industrial revolution and the rise of labor salary, industrial technology had moved overseas. Produce in overseas and export back to domestic. This causes the recession of bamboo industry. The changes of residential interior caused by the planning of architecture and life styles also result the falling of using bamboo furniture. 　　　　The spring up of modernism deeply influence the social states and architecture styles. Then the interior design broke away from the architecture. The basic design of interior design includes the proportion between space and furniture. It means furniture is the very part of interior design, and extend the connection between interior space and furniture.　　　　By using questionary surveys and evaluated design analysis, the thesis make a research about the general impressions and feelings of bamboo furniture. The search results show as follows：　1.The new types bamboo furniture can be easily accepted by the general.　2.This study reveals that bamboo composite furniture match with different interior styles.
