    摘要:   本論文是以長期的田野調查經驗,從雲林縣東勢鄉民眾對神農大帝之虔誠信仰觀中,去釋讀這種傳統的民間信仰與民眾生活間的互動,並透過不同的發展過程中去建構對於「神農大帝」信仰空間之理解,以及民眾社群關係之整合。    雲林縣東勢鄉包含大小12 個村落,但是,祭祀神農大帝的廟宇僅有四座。分別是:同安村的保安宮─「主祀神」,東勢厝的賜安宮─「凌霄寶殿的佛祖殿陪祀神」,昌南村的南天宮─「陪祀神」,安南村的鎮玄宮─「陪祀神」。其中,除了昌南村的南天宮,對於信仰空間的發展是單純一座廟以外,同安村的保安宮則包含陳元帥廟,東勢厝的賜安宮則包含船元府及萬善堂,安南村的鎮玄宮則包含奉玄宮,分別形成四個不同大小的神農大帝信仰空間。    本文即以雲林縣東勢鄉的四個不同大小的「神農大帝信仰空間」。進行三項議題之探討:一、理解地方之「神農大帝」信仰空間,是來自於民眾對於「生存」的認知,以及對信仰空間發展的共識整合。二、具體呈現地方之「神農大帝」信仰空間,即是在呈現意義所展現的目的,並用來呈現「神農大帝」存在地方空間的秩序規範與建立過程。三、藉由「神農大帝」信仰的層面,來了解民眾各自不同的信仰空間觀念,和不同的自我定位規範,藉此來顯示民眾與世界宇宙之聯繫。    本文共分六章。第一章為緒論;第二章探討同安村保安宮的神農大帝信仰空間,第三章是東勢厝神農大帝信仰空間淵源與經濟展現,第四章為昌南村神農大帝的信仰空間發展,第五章則是安南村神農大帝信仰空間的淵源與未來,第六章結論。
      This study focuses on the interaction between traditional folk religion of Shen-Nung, the God of Harvest, and the communal life in Dong-shi of Yunlin County. First it helps to construct the religious space of Shen-Nung through intensive interviews and fieldworks. And, then, it helps us to reach a deeper understanding of the local communal life in this light, as well as to uncover the underlying relationships between the local communities and the God of Harvest, by revealing the different developmental processes of the religious space of Shen-Nung.    Dong-shi of Yunlin County has 12 villages, but only 4 temples which host Shen-Nung, the God of Harvest. They are the Bao-an Temple in Tong-an Village, the Sih-an Temple of Dong-shi Village, the Nan-tian Temple in Chang-nan Village, and the Zhen-xuan Temple in An-nan Village. Each temple as mentioned here provides a different spatial significance to the God of Harvest, according to historical reasons and the varied trajectories of development in each village.    Except in Chang-nan Village, which has only one religious space for Shen-Nung, Nan-tian Temple, other villages which house Sheng-Nung have more than one temple that do so: in the Tong-an Village, includes Bao-an Temple and Yuan shuai Temple; Dong-shi Village includes Sih-an Temple and Chuan-yuan Temple and Wan-Shan Court; and An-nan Village includes Zhen-xuan Temple and Feng-xuan Temple. They have formulated four different types of religious space for Shen-Nung.    Basically, this study explores three topics concerning those four different types of religious space of Shen-Nung in Dong-shi of Yunlin County:1. Understanding the local religious space of Shen-Nung, as coming from the public’s management of living and integration of the development of religious space.2. Showing each of the local religious space of Shen-Nung, specifically as they represent the order and the established process of existential space of local life.3. From the perspective of the religious worship of Shen-Nung, the public’s religious space indicates different self-directions of the people. In the end, this study is somehow an effort to reveal the relationship between the public and the higher order of the universe as they perceived.
