題名: | 繼續進修意願之研究-以嘉義縣民眾為例 |

摘要: | 近年來,由於終身學習理念之推展,國人對於繼續進修愈為重視。而嘉義縣是一老年人口多、文盲率又高的農業縣,縣民對於繼續進修之意願如何,卻少有實證文獻探討。 基於此,本研究遂利用自陳問卷採多段隨機抽樣方法,就嘉義縣內之十八鄉鎮市扣除阿里山、大埔等鄉後之十六鄉鎮市三百四十村里之民眾進行問卷調查。共計抽得有效樣本七百四十八份。經研究採用交叉分析法及邏輯迴歸法、因素分析法,獲致下列幾點結論: 一、 嘉義縣內之成人以30歲至49歲及65歲以上之人口層分二大部分,學歷亦分佈於高中職及國小二部分,月收入普遍不高,以農業為主。 二、 年齡愈輕、職業為白領階級、學歷愈高、工作年資較淺、每月有固定休假、收入不要過低者對繼續進修有較高之解釋力或預測力。 三、 民眾參與繼續進修意願及其主觀理由、原因隨各社會人口變項的差異,而有不同。惟「為求知的興趣」是普遍再進修理由;「科技進步的壓力」、「為職場上的升遷」是普遍再進修主要原因。 四、民眾對於繼續進修的理由以「求知的興趣」及「為職業需要」為多。 五、民眾在工作之餘,有計畫要繼續進修的最主要原因有六項,而「老闆要求進修」一項並非是民眾參與進修之原因。顯見,嘉義縣民眾對於在工作之餘,繼續進修之主要原因都有受自我知覺需要而參與進修。 六、嘉義縣民眾的學習態度,在自我實現的部分,以精神性的需求及工具性的需求與繼續學習有很大的相關。 七、嘉義縣民眾的學習態度,咸認上課地點要離家近、以實務探討方式、以夜間時段來辦理成人進修教育為宜,且上課地點不一定要在學校。 八、嘉義縣民眾的學習態度,認為參與繼續進修於收費方面,民眾傾向收費要低;而在繼續進修之辦理單位民眾則以非營利組織來承辦為適當。 Owing to the extension of the concept in long-term learning, people in Taiwan pays more attention on studying for higher education recently. However, citizens in Chiayi prefecture, a traditional agricultural county, have high percentage of elders and know-nothing and the intention to keep more and higher education of citizens in Chiayi prefecture was barely investigated. Accordingly, written-questionnaires were collected from 340 villages of 16 towns, both Alisan and Tapu towns were excluded, in Chiayi Prefecture by random sampling method. Several conclusions were drawn from the results of 748 effective samples by means of cross analysis, logically regression and factor analysis in this research: 1. Adult citizens in 30-49 year-old and elder than 65 year-old are the two major parts of population in Chiayi Prefecture and their education level are average in high school and elementary school, respectively. They are mostly engaged in agriculture and do not have high incomes. 2. Younger citizens mostly are white-collar, highly educated, short work-career, and have fixed holidays per month. Once they have better salaries, they have high expectation and good explanation for continuing study. 3. Reasons for keep going study varied from different level of population in society, but mostly ones were the pressures of advanced high technology and getting promotion from job career. 4. Reasons for continuing education of most citizens were focused on their interesting in knowledge and their promotion requirements. 5. There are six major reasons for continuing education, but the request from the employer was not one of them. This results indicated the self-requiring for participating the continuing education was the major one in Chiayi Prefecture. 6. Learning attitude in self-development part of most citizens were related to spiritual demands and tool demands. 7. Learning attitude of most citizens in Chiayi Prefecture concerned the studying location that is closed to their home and more practical in utilization. 8. Low tuition of continuing education and the non-profile organization to run the continuing education were more acceptable in most citizens in Chiayi Prefecture. |
