| 摘要: | 不論在書種的增加、圖書銷售量、暢銷書排行榜與好書推薦榜的比例來看，翻譯圖書的譯介對台灣的讀者具有必要性；然而，譯書品質的問題因譯評文章凸顯出來，其良窳實際上與出版社的出版流程有著密切關係，包括選題、著作權交易、譯者遴選、翻譯過程、編輯的潤飾與校對、審訂者的審稿等重要步驟。本研究旨在瞭解目前台灣地區上述出版流程每一步驟的原則、標準與訴求，進而找出影響譯書品質的因素，並提出合理適當的建議，以期提高譯書品質和維護出版的水準。本研究採用質性研究的文獻分析法與深度訪談法蒐集資料，訪談對象為台灣地區出版社的編輯、譯者與審訂者。深度訪談主要是補文獻分析資料的不足，針對受訪者每一步驟運作的過程與原則，進行訪談並加以分析。 研究發現共有五項因素影響譯書品質，分別為：一、出版流程的時間壓力大；二、譯書成本提高使得稿酬居低不上；三、出版流程中參與者的條件與態度；四、參與者之間互動的重要性；五、譯文品質不同的訴求。針對研究發現，筆者以正視翻譯產業的角度提出五項建議：一、減少新書出書量；二、重視譯者稿酬的調漲；三、建立良好的譯評制度；四、設置大學出版社；五、相關單位應鼓勵、重視國內翻譯產業。評估此五項建議雖可能因現實問題，造成實行上的困難與不易；然而，此五項卻是促進翻譯事業良好發展的必要條件，的確需要相關單位的重視，否則要提高譯書品質，將難以達成。
According to an increase in book titles and the percentage of the market rate, the best seller and the good book, to the island of Taiwan’s most readers, the translated book is necessary. However, the problems of its quality exists over twenty years, and relates directly to the process of the book publishing which including choosing books, selling rights, choosing translators, translating books, proofreading and revising manuscripts. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to understand the principles, standards and demands on each step that mentioned above, and next one is to find out causes that effect the translated book’s quality. In Conclusion part, in order to improve the translated book’s high quality and maintain the standard of the book publishing, there should be given some reasonable suggestions. Moreover, the study, based on the qualitative research, is adopted by two methods as the literature analysis and the in-depth interviews. These interviewees are editors, translators and revisers. In a way, the in-depth interviews can make up for inadequacies in the literature analysis. There are five causes found in the study. First, less time and much work to editors, translators and revisers. Second, the high cost in the translated book and the low payment to translators. Third, the importance of these main characters’ conditions and attitudes. Fourth, the importance of the interaction among them. Fifth, the demand on the quality of the translated book between editors and academics is different. Through findings, there are five suggestions. First, it should reduce amounts of books and the pressure of work. Second, it should respect the chance to increase the payment. Third, it should have a sound translated book review. Fourth, it should establish the university press. Fifth, the related agencies should pay more attention to the translation field. Although parts of suggestions are difficult to implement immediately, they are the only way to improve and develop. All in all, it needs the related agencies to overcome and respect. |
