    Abstract:   本論文針對台灣的佛教網站經營者目前所面臨的弘法環境,所必須建立的觀念與落實的方法做逐步探討,並對台灣佛教網站中佛教文化資源運用情形,經營者如何有效地配合網路特性經營該網站;分析佛法在網路中的利他行為種類,利他要素對上網者的意義,以及網路佛法在人間佛教的時代價值。 本論文探討真、善、美三個面向及佛法在網路上慈悲的意義。先從第二章「美」的面向論述慈悲中的美感、利他與網路的關係,再討論第三章「善」的面向,以圓滿的球體論述慈悲中道德、利他與網路的關係,其次由第四章「台灣佛教網站的慈悲美學應用」,分析目前台灣各個佛教網站所編排的內容與網路利他要素結合的程度,針對優點的加強、缺點的修正,使佛教網站可以運用佛法的慈悲力量,去面對網路時代眾多沉迷虛擬世界的網眾。最後由第五章「真」的面向,探討宇宙萬物經人類的分類系統所得到的知識與真諦間的差異性,分析網路各種現象由佛法詮釋後所展現的面貌,整合對美、善、真的詮釋。 其研究的方法以「創造的詮釋學」為核心,輔以各相關領域之文獻探討詮釋佛法在網路上的弘揚。其研究結果為: 一、台灣佛教界對網路的認知越早體會,對弘法事業越有助益。 二、佛教網站現階段應進行的工作,為將佛教網站利他性資源整合至相關網頁中,增加網眾自我成長的互動空間。 三、藉由網路面目讓世人認知肉體存在是生命最基本的真實性, 也是人間佛教最重要的價值。
      The purpose of this research is firstly to probe into the environment the Buddhist website owners are facing to propagate Buddhism on the Internet, as well as the concepts and workable applications they need to establish. Secondly, to understand how the cultural resources of Buddhist are used on the Buddhist websites in Taiwan, and how the owners effectively tie in with the Internet’s characteristics to run the website. Finally, to analyze the type of altruistic behaviors the Buddhism spreads out on the Internet; the significance of altruistic elements to Internet users; and the values the Internet dharma has created for this age of people. The thesis discuss through three different aspects: truth, goodness and beauty, to analyze the meaning of mercy conveyed by Buddhism on the internet. In Chapter Two “Beauty”, the aesthetic of maitrya-karu(compassionate , 慈悲), par-rtha(altruism,利他), and their relationship with Internet is discussed through the aspect of beauty. The aspect of “Goodness” is covered next in Chapter Three, by adopting the theory of consummate sphere to expound the ethic of maitrya-karu, altruism, and their relationship with Internet. The next chapter, “Aesthetic of maitrya-karu on the Buddhist Website in Taiwan”, is to discuss what the Buddhist websites have on their sites in Taiwan, and how well they tie up with the altruistic elements of Internet. This chapter is, at the same time, to discover how they can emphasize strength and modify the shortcomings to perform the Buddhism’s power of maitrya-karu to influence the Internet masses who addict to the cyber world in this age. The last chapter, Chapter Five, is to explore through the aspect of “truth”, that the difference between what we know about all things in the universe based on human’s classification and their true essence; and finally to analyze how the internet phenomenon look like through the interpretation of Buddhism, and its integration with the interpretation of truth, goodness, and beauty. The core method of this research is “creative hermeneutics”, assisted with the document analysis on all relevant fields in order to expound how the Buddhism is propagated on the Internet. The research result is to urge the Buddhism world in Taiwan to place importance on the form and method for propagating dharma in this Cybric Age, so that they can last the Buddhism of mortal world for future generation.
