    摘要:   本研究旨在探討視覺障礙教師的生命史,從他們的生命脈絡中去掌握視覺障礙教師的生命歷程及所面臨的困境,藉此了解視障者,並可提供家庭、學校、教育機關,面對視障者輔導之參考。本研究採用質性研究方法中的生命史研究,主要以深度訪談的方式來收集資料,將所得的資料轉謄為逐字稿後,以故事的方式呈現其生命歷程及困境。並歸納出研究結論如下: 1.影響視覺障礙教師生命歷程的因素包括個人特質、家庭因素、學校因素與教育政策。 2.個人特質方面包括自我接納及行為認知,家庭方面包括父母的態度及手足的接納,學校方面包括教師的態度及同儕的接納,教育政策方面包括回歸主流及教育安置。 3.視障教師完成學業後面臨兩個主要的困境為職業與婚姻。 4.啟明學校近年來招收多重障礙學生,視覺障礙教師應發展不同的教學因應策略。 5.對於配偶的選擇,男性視覺障礙教師,相當重視心靈方面的契合,經濟基礎也是婚姻的考慮之一。   根據以上的結論,提出對家長、一般學校、特殊學校、教育行政機關等建議,以供相關人員參考。
      This study mainly discusses the life history of teachers with visual impairment. y looking into the life history of these teachers, we hope to obtain life course and dilemma they encounter from their life experience. We can understand the visual impairment and offer counseling to the family, the school and the administration of education .This research uses the life history of studying the quality research methods to obtain the information needed, and the in-depth life history interview has been translated into written words and they, in tern, present their life course through story-telling. The findings and conclusions of the study are as follows:  1. Personal traits, family factor, school factor and administration of education are influential factors to the life course.  2. Personal traits including self-concept and cognitive of behavior , family factor including parental attitudes and sibling relationships, school factor including teachers' attitudes and peer-group relationships and education including mainstreaming and educational placement. 3. Two major obstacle for the teachers with visual impairment after finishing their schooling are career and marriage. 4. The teachers should use different teaching strategies for the multiply handicapped students in the school of the visually impaired  5. The male teachers think that the economic ability and spirituality are important to their marriage.   Finally, according to the result the researchers have clarified, some suggestion will be presented for the parent, the general school, the special school, and the administration of education, for their reference.
