Abstract:	今天人類的處境誠如Michael P. Todaro,所言：「世界就如同人的身體，當有一個器官疼痛，其他的器官會感受到；假如許多器官受到傷害，人就會感到痛苦」。在全球化的時代，國家主權已經不是唯一的治理主體，也表示著，權力的基礎也非僅來自於國家面對新的世界局勢，任何單獨社會想要獨善其身都愈來愈不可行，各式各樣的全球標準，從環保、貿易到人權議題，以及如人類社會正全面性、全方位地互相學習如何合作，共同參與營造新的全球秩序，並修正過去的錯誤經驗。在今天，即使普世的價值經常受到挑戰和挫折，全球各地的非營利組織仍可以結合所有積極參與的個人和組織，在這充滿不確定、挑戰和機會的變遷過程中，共同塑造出維持全人類繁榮、安全與尊嚴的新願景。台灣的非營利組織若能紮根本土，放眼全球，未必不能對「全球化」引發的種種問題做出獨特的貢獻。　　The world is like the human body : If one part aches, the rest will feel it; if many parts hurt, the whole will suffer.。During the globalization trend, single nation sovereignty should not be the only ruling power dealing with the international events. In other words, it’s impossible for any single society to confront or secure it self against the conquences caused by the globalization for its’ own good. Instead, how to work out a new social order or set up a new standard from environ mental protection to human rights and cooperate with each other to creat the most benefits for every one in the globe village are the first priority.　　　Although facing a lot of challenges and uncertainties, the non-profitable organizations in every country are still trying to collaborate with each other to work out a future vision of stability and prosperity for human being. As a result, if the Taiwan non-profitable organizations can bace their roots on Taiwan but set their sights internationally, they can still do some unique contributions to the conquences caused by the globalization.
