Abstract:	這份研究主要是探討並呈現單親母親的居住歷程與所遇到的困境，再根據單親母親的居住經驗來為單親母親居住需求做設想。研究對象以台北市安康、福民、延吉三個平價住宅中「離婚、喪偶或未婚，並且與一位以上十八歲以下的未婚子女組成家庭，並且同住一處的單一母親」的單親母親為主，透過深度訪談與參與觀察的方式接觸住在平價住宅中的單親媽媽們，主動釐清她們是遭遇了什麼樣的居住困難而來到平價住宅之中。並且進一步瞭解單親媽媽的居住需求為何，試圖從居住空間與環境改善方面著手，來解決她們的困擾，進而提出相關建議。　　　故本研究主要目的為以下三點：（1.）單親媽媽們的居住空間需要能被注意到。（2.）單親媽媽們的在居住方面容易有哪些困擾，以平價住宅為例。（3.）可以進一步提出，能夠減輕單親媽媽生活重擔的空間規劃建議。　　　並分別論述於論文第二章媽媽們的居住故事；第三章有住就好？單親媽媽居住困擾：以平宅為例，以及第四章尾聲：結論建議媽媽們的居住期望與單親媽媽住宅考量重點。　　This thesis analyzes the obstacle of single mothers in their living experiences in order to explore their housing needs. The field study is in Ankong, Fumin, and Yanji low-cost housing projects in Taipei City. The definition of single mother is “the mother who divorce, bereft of one's spouse or unmarried, and living with one or more children of no more then eighteen years old.” The study uses in-depth interviews and participation observations to examine why single mothers move into low-cost housing and their housing problems in the process of relocation. Based on housing needs of these single mothers, this research seeks to propose a housing improvement plan to solve their housing problems.　　　The thesis has three purposes:（1.） To make housing needs of single mothers visible.（2.） To explore the obstacles of single mothers in their living experience from the study on the low-cost housing projects.（3.） To propose a housing improvement plan to reduce the double burden of single mothers.　　　The content of each chapter is: Chapter two: Living stories of single mothers. Chapter three: Housing problems of single mothers in the low-cost housing projects. Chapter 4: Conclusion and suggestion.
