    Abstract:   這幾年來在殯葬改革的聲浪中,殯葬禮儀服務人員被列為改革的對象之一,他們被國內外媒體稱為不肖業者,被民眾視為帶煞之人,社會對於殯葬業者總是貶多於褒,卻忽略了他們行善的事蹟,以及工作中的辛苦面。筆者欲藉此研究瞭解殯葬禮儀服務業工作生活品質,並瞭解什麼樣的人格特質才能勝任此工作,還有政府為提倡殯葬改革而頒布的殯葬管理條例是否對殯葬業者產生壓力,條文內容是否符合民情,是否影響他們繼續從事殯葬業的意願?而他們的專業承諾、工作倦怠與工作士氣是否也影響著其留職意願?    因此本研究目的在於探討殯葬禮儀服務人員的人格特質、殯葬管理條例知覺、工作生活品質、專業承諾、工作倦怠、工作士氣與留職意願之關聯性,以台北市殯葬禮儀服務人員為研究對象,採用SPSS統計視窗軟體,使用的統計方法為:信度分析、描述性統計、交叉分析、差異性分析、相關性分析、複迴歸分析、層級迴歸分析與集群分析。研究結果如下: 1.不同個人變項對人格特質、殯葬管理條例知覺、工作生活品質、專業承諾、工作倦怠、工作士氣與留職意願有顯著差異。2.人格特質、殯葬管理條例知覺、工作生活品質、專業承諾、工作倦怠、工作士氣與留職意願有顯著相關。3.人格特質、殯葬管理條例知覺、工作生活品質、專業承諾、工作倦怠、工作士氣對留職意願有顯著影響。4.不同集群有顯著差異。5.各變項之間有顯著典型相關。
      In Taiwan, the public have no good impression to the mortician, in fact they to do good deed silently, and work hard .So I want to understand mortician’s quality of work life and understand what kind of personality characteristic can be competent this work? Why they want to stay in funeral industry? How about t the mortician’s professional commitment, job burnout and job morale? Government announced “FUNERAL RULES” in order to reform the funeral culture. Whether this act influence the mortician or not? Whether the ruling content matches the present condition or not? How about t the mortician’s perception of “FUNERAL RULES”? This study’s object is to research the relation among the mortician’s personality characteristic, quality of work life, professional commitment, job burnout, job morale and intention to stay.   This study has adopted SPSS FOR WINDOWS as the tool for statistical analysis. The major conclusions of the study are as follows: 1.The personal demographic information of morticians are significantly differences in personality characteristic, perception of “FUNERAL RULES”, quality of work life, professional commitment, job burnout ,job morale and intention to stay .2.Personality characteristic, perception of “FUNERAL RULES”, quality of work life, professional commitment, job burnout and job morale had significantly relationship with intention to stay.3.Personality characteristic, quality of work life, perception of “FUNERAL RULES”, professional commitment, job burnout and job morale had significantly effect on the “intention to stay” in the mortician.4.Cluster analysis had shown the significant difference.5.Canonical correlated analysis had shown the significant canonical correlated.
