Since 1975 to date, the United Nations has held four World Conferences on Women. Those conferences included two parts: official meetings and unofficial (NGO) forums. These conferences broadly discussed every kind of issues that women are facing. Currently in the United Nations, there are many works that need to be pushed forward urgently with the coordination of NGOs, for example: protection of human rights and humanitarian relief, women and children issues, environmental protection and education. Many emerging international groups, regardless of official or private organizations, are participating the discussions of women issues. International oaths and meetings are emerging; reports and academic writings related to women issues are easy to find in the databases around the world. On the other hand, under the influence of globalization, a relationship has been developed between Taiwanese women and international transition. Many domestic women groups deeply understand the importance. They cooperate with local alliances and international organizations on many issues by organizing international conference and inviting every women group to interact directly. It is hoped that, through the international interchange and dialogue, the strategy and opportunity of Taiwanese women groups in participating future UN activities and international organizations can be further developed. We can demonstrate the great achievement of Taiwanese women groups to the world, so that the international society can even more understand Taiwan, and thus let Taiwan smoothly enter the world stage. This thesis explores the initiation and development of women right issues and discusses the role of NGOs in the trend of international feminism. Through the analysis of both domestic and international development of Taiwanese civil women groups, we introspect the meaning demonstrated by Taiwanese women groups in voicing at the agenda of traditionally international politics.
