First of all, this program called "Art of therapy" and the development of this program are our primary concerns in this research. In this case study, there were three terminal-ill patients who helped out a lot through the activities containing the performance of approximately ninety minutes each time, eight to ten times in total and 6 weeks in the whole course. As an observer, I was glad to be with them at the final stage of their lives. They spent the rest of their lives with me and I felt like we were a family. From the self-explorations and self-awareness of these three participants and my personal observations in this "Art of Therapy" activities, as well as the deep interview from the creation, we would want to explore more about the emotional context of the terminal-ill patients, and subject experiences and feelings of the creations. So far, this research has found: (1). "The deepening effect of Art-Therapy Activities" includes the followings: Terminal-ill stage is a life and death situation where the patients are still alive while they also know the fact that death isn't too far away. As they complete their medical treatment courses, the real emotional impact will occur while they get back to their daily routines. Terminal-ill patients will face the tragic situation once they realized the existence of every single individual. They are ready for death and become more motivated. Women are emotionally and mentally stronger. They are prepared for death to come, but it doesn’t mean that death will take them away the next minute or so. (2) Conclusion of the experiences of these three patients in "Art therapy activities" includes the followings:Alleviation of the relationship between the nurse and the patients. Accomplishment of pressure releasing and emotional support. Re-evaluate the anxiety of death. To achieve self-examination and re-define the definition of life events through life overview. Art has improved self-awareness, self-understanding and self-confidence.To re-arrange the order of unfinished issues. To make one’s life complete. (3). The discovery of this researcher in art therapy. (4). Lastly, Art Therapy has become a catalyst for the dynamic stage, which has improved the mental health for these patients. The report will state the changes in the dynamic stage. From what has been stated above, this research provides suggestions and information for those who want to continue field research, also the clinic workers and associated educators.
