The purpose of this thesis is to (1) Investigate the relationship between religion and telepathy experience. (2) Investigate how were diseases being healed or improved significantly due to the power of Buddhism faith. (3) Investigate the changes and contents of research subjects’ attitude towards life and death during pre and post telepathy experience. This thesis utilized ‘telepathy’, ‘efficacious’ as keyword to search for literatures in the Chinese community (including Taiwan and China), such as PhD thesis, Master’s thesis, periodicals, journals, and folklore. The content of ‘disease’ was captured as reference. The contribution of this thesis was prominent in citing evidence of the power of Buddhism faith in healing or improving disease significantly, due to the shortage of research done on the subject of disease and telepathy experiences. The in-depth interviews were utilized as qualitative research method, involving 6 individuals diagnosed by the orthodox Medicine for having breast cancer, ovarian cancer, Hemangioma, Leukemia, brain tumor, and white spot disease. Despite the fact that orthodox Medicine was unable to cure these cases, the Buddhism faith managed to heal and improve them significantly. Individuals with breast cancer, Hemangioma, brain tumor, and white spot disease were recovered; whereas individuals with ovarian cancer and Leukemia have seen significant improvement. Referring to the research and analysis conclusion: The healing experiences varied in each individual but do share some similar key elements, with karma conditions of their own that didn’t follow a rigid formula. Good karma around the individuals was beneficial to the healing process, such as accompaniment by the family. The aiding karma from people around was vital to the healing process, but what is more important is whether the individual possessed a strong faith to the religion, whether he or she could correspond with the Buddha, and lastly, determined by the blessings and karma of the individual. The meanings of life transformation course are (1) Be life-reflective. (2) Generous heart with strong belief in karma. (3) Positive mindset. (4) Be good nature and do good deeds (5) Enthusiastic and optimistic towards life. (6) Compassionately altruistic. After the diseases being healed and gaining significant improvement due to the Buddhism faith, the subjects of these few cases became more grateful of live, and offered passionate, selfless care to people who faced setback in their lives. Hence, this research could serve as reference of Life Education as well.
