    Abstract: 本文作者在社會工作專業裡浸潤四十餘年。反身回顧以科班學生的身分啟程、成為實務工作者、教師、到與社區工作者協行同學的教師歷程,然後整理這些年在自我學習、教學分享、和在社區與教室裡觀察陪伴聆聽回饋分享的敘說行動探究過程經驗,將其文字化為這一篇討論敘說探究作為知識生產路徑與方法的文章。文章點出敘說行動研究乃是歸類為後現代之參與式研究典範之研究,且其看待知識與知識生產之基本價值、立場、態度與方法與華夏傳統儒家和宋明理學王守仁一脈之知行合一學說相當契合。兩者均重視實踐參與和知識生產的合一,都對於語言文字之功用與限制有覺知反省,也都追求生機活潑的生命態度與真實實踐的生命學問。此外,大學之道,在明明德,在親民、在止於至善是儒家傳統追尋真理之原則,而格物致知、誠意正心、修身齊家、治國平天下乃是儒家的學問與生命實踐的進程,此二者為大學之綱目,其於西方後現代典範之敘說行動研究彼此有相互增益啟發之功效。
    Recalling his career in social work since 1974 as a freshman, in this article he discusses why he advocates narrative action research and how narrative action research can be a way of producing knowledge which upgrades a practitioner into a higher state of " knowledge and praxis in harmony". He explains in this writing how the traditional way of becoming a Confucianist and the ways of learning and doing narrative action research can go along with each other.
