Abstract:	台灣農業經濟在過去追求經濟成長及工業化進程中，逐漸成為弱勢產業，從而導致年輕人口外移、老化、農村沒落殘破。近年來，在政府政策推波助瀾及熱心人士的推動之下，以社區發展協會為基礎，陸續展開農村更新的行動，希望能夠活絡農村，為農村生活找到新的生命力。　　本研究以台南市後壁區土溝里為研究對象，探討此地區的公共藝術與社區發展之影響，先整理歸納社區總體營造、社區藝術和藝術行銷管理的相關文獻資料，再進行社區發展協會、駐村藝術團隊、地方業者和居民代表的深度訪談，並分析訪談資料後得到研究結論。　　本研究發現，農村復甦的主要機制仍是以農村在地居民為主，在地方組織的帶領之下，以生命共同體的認同感結合文化或生態等特色主題從事農村再生，才能真正引導農村重新創造嶄新的經濟、文化、與生活圈，經營優質的永續家園。期盼本研究結果能作為日後台南市土溝地區發展之參考建議。　　The agricultural economy in Taiwan has become a disadvantaged industry gradually. In the process of pursuing economic growth and industrialization, thus will cause the problems such as the emigration of the young people, the aging of the population and the decline in the rural area. Recently, the enthusiastic people with the government policy intend to contribute to revive agricultural culture on the basis of the assistance of community development association in order to preserve agricultural values life styles and strengthen the vitality in this area. 　　This research is aimed at taking the Tuguo Village as an example and exploring how pubic arts influence the community development. The literature review was consisted by community building, community arts and marketing management of art. In　depth interviews　with the Community Development Association, the regional artists　in　residence, the local businessmen and residents are conducted, analyzed and concluded.　　The study finds that the success of any rural rejuvenation in agricultural region has to rely on local people’s awareness to treasure their lifestyles and self-identification. With the support of the local organizations, the rejuvenation is about to bring a superior socioeconomic and cultural sustainable homeland in the rural area. This study can be viewed as a reference for the development of the Tuguo Village in Tainan City in the future.
