本計畫將以「物類相感」為核心，探討此一神話思維乃兼有「神權－人文」以及「人文－物感」兩大向度，因而得以旁通於宗教神權的芻議，一方面又能承載原始巫術的素材，對於神聖崇拜與文化人格的積澱，啟發甚巨。
This research focuses on the mythological concept of “the sympathetic relationship between objects.” By discussing its two dimensions of “divine authority—human culture” and “human culture—materialization” I bypass the issue of religious authority. This approach makes it possible to consider the source material of primitive sorcery, and also yields considerable insight into the accumulated wisdom relating to cultural character and the worship of the sacred.
