Abstract:	「鯤鯓」意象的溯源，有助於疏通「台灣」地景、神話與文學的複合關係，本文將探勘「台江內海」與「倒風內海」西南沿海生態地景，以及神話觸角的再現。此一溯源於「鯨背」上的「台灣」意象，在時空的推移之下，並未伴隨著「台江」竟成「平陸」的變化告一段落。再度疏導「鯤鯓」意象的神話原型，以及「鯤島」海洋生態的論述架構，將探究「人」與「鯨」之間，以及「鯤」與「島」之際，錯綜複雜的依存關係。有助於揭示台灣「鯤鯓」神話，以及地景書寫的義理結構。 Kunshen, a huge sea creature in Chinese folklore, has been influenced by the myths, literature, and topography of Taiwan. In this paper we investigate the relationship between the image of Kunshen and the myths relating to the coastal wetlands of southeastern Taiwan known as the Taijiang Inland Sea and the Daofeng Inland Sea.The related myths describing the island of Taiwan as riding on the back of a whale originated prior to the siltification and disappearance of the Taijiang Inner Sea. In this investigation of the complex and interdependent relationship between humans and whales and between the Kunshen and islands, we examine the prototypes of the Kunshen myths and the narrative structure of the myths describing whales landing on shore.
