Diverse family formation is recently an issue attracting numerous discussion and researches, but cases changing from a heterosexual marriage family to a homosexual marriage family still is rare. In the study, a female being a mother and a lesbian simultaneously was recruited as the research participant. The research was aimed to explore and comprehend the self-identity of lesbian, parental experience, and how the family was reorganized from heterosexual family to homosexual family. The research was guided by narrative research method. Data was collected through semi-structural in-depth interviews, and the textual contents were analyzed in accordance with Lieblich's 'holistic-content analysis' method. It is hoped that by building up an understanding based on the subjective experience of the participant's first-hand narrative data on gender choice, parental experience and family-type conversion, lesbian's gender choice and family management can be properly understood. The findings may help change the stereotyped viewpoints of mainstreamers looking from a distance. The lesbian's stigma can be thereby torn-off, and the research issues in this field can become more diverse and deeper.
