The proverb "Foreign Buddhist monk knows how to recite sutra." In Chinese refers to the phenomenon of large amount of foreign Buddhist monks who come to Taiwan on their missions, among which the Tibetan Buddhist monks are the most influential group. However, there are few studies conduct by scholars which aims to analyze the reason behind the popularity of Tibetan Buddhism, and even fewer studies conduct by Buddhist followers. Hence, this thesis studies a Rinpoche who belongs to yellow hat sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism named Gelug-pa lead by Dalai Lama, teaching his followers the knowledge of Buddhism. Khangser Rinpoche founded Dipkar Taiwan in the year of 2012, thus started a routine program where he visits Taiwan on yearly basis to teach his followers about Buddhism knowledge. The author noted many of his answers of wisdom and act of compassion during his teaching programs as well as interactions with his followers. The author also noticed the quality of followers are of outstanding levels, which lead to the interest of the author to look into the difference before and after they learn from Khangser Rinpoche. After studying questionnaires answered by followers, the author came up with 6 conclusions as stated below: 1. Members of Dipkar Taiwan is more strict in terms of following Buddhist rules and being vegan than other Buddhist group in general, and focus more on the pursuit of transcending death and life.2. Members of Dipkar Taiwan learn from Khangser Rinpoche in following order: insight→practice→rituals.3. Almost half of the Members of Dipkar Taiwan shows improvement in the practice of six paramitas after learning from Khangser Rinpoche, and a portion of the members show substantial improvement.4. A lot of people have a better understanding and acceptance for Tibetan Buddhism after learning from Khangser Rinpoche.5. Online classes is not as effective as realtime classes, although there are interpreters, the communications and interactions are much limited. Khangser Rinpoche tried very hard to make things workout as smoothly as it possibly can is helpful.6. There are not too much difference in terms of learning effectiveness between Taiwanese and Vietnamese, but Vietnames are more than Taiwanese in pursuit of wealth and well-being. Therefore Taiwanese are better than Vietnanese in pursuit of attitude and relief.
