生活世界(Life-world、Lebenswelt),是德國現象學家埃得蒙德.胡塞爾(Edmund Husserl,1859-1938)晚年特別重視的概念,在20世紀更是廣受討論。林安梧認為熊十力「體用合一」的哲學模型中,也蘊含著對「生活世界」的重視。然此「生活世界」與胡塞爾「生活世界」(Lebenswelt)之意義其實頗有不同。本文將以「生活世界」為關鍵,對比胡塞爾與熊十力對此概念理解之異同,進一步指出熊十力哲學中藉由「活生生的實存而有」的人來開啟的「生活世界」,實蘊含著重要的實踐啟示。 Life-world (Lebenswelt), a concept that German phenomenologist Edmund Husserl (1859-1938) paid special attention to in his later years, was widely discussed in the 20th century.
