    Abstract: 本文將以《討海人》為探討主軸，分析《討海人》中海湧伯和敘述者「我」因海上經驗的不同，而產生出彼此間的對立結構。再從兩人出海目的不同探討，同樣身為「討海人」，卻對「討海人」這個身分有著不同認知，藉此解析海湧伯和敘述者「我」對「討海人」所產生的複義效果。進而解釋此文本之張力效應是如何產生的。
