現代的紀實攝影家熟悉他們的傳統:「重新界定攝影美學,使用新的象徵指出時代對於醜陋的、平庸的與內心世界的沈迷」;他們認為值得也滿足於透過攝影,將尋常百姓平凡的生活昇華成不朽的藝術。 紀實攝影有一項重要的組成要素,是事實上攝影需要文字輔佐,才能使影像更有影響力;許多紀實照片中將招牌、街頭塗鴉畫或告示牌也拍出來;有的圖片說明中採用被攝者當時說的話;如此,紀實攝影是文字與照片的真正結合,而照片仍獨立地承載著信息。 本創作論文以創作者本身攝影經驗當中選擇出類似紀實攝影的拍攝想法與方式的作品,再分別分類為九個主題來闡釋說明創作理念,期許能讓觀者瞭解與思考這些作品的內涵與意義為何。 Modern documentary photographers focused on their rules:"redefining photographic aesthetics-using new symbols to point out the era's addiction to the ugly, mediocre and inner world". They tried to catch the normal life for public to art by using camera. Documentary photograph had one of the main elements, and it was the photography with text to create the influences. For example, the signboards, street graffiti, or billboards were showed, and the texts was from the objects photographed. Therefore, the documentary photograph plays an important role to combine with text and photography, and the photography owned information individually. The creative thesis based on the experiences from the photographers, and it tried to choose the nine topics to show the creative idea. It expected the audiences to recognize and think the meanings and contents from the works.
