Abstract:	賽鴿運動的發展已有相當久的時間。鴿友透過從養鴿到賽鴿的過程中，獲得的知識、成就感、鴿友間互動以及「認同感」。這一切都是大量的時間與金錢累積而成。　　在整個世界上，包括歐洲、美洲及亞洲國家，其市場龐大、投入人數之多，讓人難以想像。比利時更享有「賽鴿王國」的美名，但賽鴿運動在台灣卻被視為「負面印象」，主要原因在於台灣對於「賽鴿」，其印象讓人聯想到「博弈」。　　台灣賽鴿圈仍然缺乏一個合法的制度，但根據筆者的觀察，不管是在國內或國外，許多養鴿及賽鴿協會的人士，部分人士在社會上都具備相當高的政經地位，為何仍然熱衷賽鴿活動，因此這讓筆者產生很大的研究動機並與以探討。　　The pigeon racing has been developed for long time. Fanciers take more knowledge, achievements, friendship with other fanciers, and ＂Identity＂ from pigeon breeding to pigeon racings. All of this is accumulated by a lot of money and time.　　The pigeon racing is dedicated by many people and has huge market around the world, including Europe, American and Asian. The pigeon racing is also known as the ＂Kingdom of Pigeons racing＂ in Belgium but considered a ＂negative impression＂ in Taiwan. The main reason is that people in Taiwan consider pigeon racing which is similar with gambling.　　The Taiwanese pigeon racing still lacks a legal system. According to my observation, whether domestic or foreign, some people have very high political and economic statuses, and why are they absolutely addicted to pigeon racing? Therefore, these questions give me a great motivation and discussion.
