背景與目的:調查顯示,大多數青少年遇到的最常見的問題是學業和情緒問題。心靈太極可以用來改善這些問題。因此,本研究的目的是探討心靈太極對國中生情緒智力與適應的作用。 方法與材料:本研究採用橫斷式研究,有效樣本來自彰化地區2所國民中學的1到3年級學生,共計110人。研究採用問卷調查法蒐集資料,研究工具包含青少年情緒智力量表、青少年適應量表。資料分析以SPSS統計套裝軟體進行描述性統計分析。 研究結果:研究發現,課程組青少年情緒智力問卷調查問卷的得分僅略高於對照組;此與研究者預期課程組會高於對照組許多的結果有了落差;探究其最後結果取決於學生心理機轉不同。 此外,儘管研究顯示學習動機或成效與心靈太極課程之間於本研究雖無明顯差異,但由於心理機轉無法單就量化結果得以證明,因此對於個案抽樣的質性描述,則為進一步研究的立論發展基礎。 Background and Aims: Surveys have shown that the most common problems encountered by the majority of adolescents are schoolwork and emotional issues. Spiritual Tai Chi could be used to overcome these problems. Hence, the purpose of this study was to explore the effects of Spiritual Tai Chi on the Emotional Intelligence and Adjustment of students in junior high school. Methods: A cross-sectional study was used in this study. There were 110 seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students recruited from two junior high schools in Changhua, Taiwan. The data were collected by means of the “Inventory of Adolescent Emotional Intelligence” and “Inventory of Adolescent Adjustment” questionnaires. Conclusion: The study found that the scores of the Adolescent Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire in the course group were only slightly higher than those in the control group; this was a gap with the researchers' expectation that the course group would be higher than the control group. The final result of the inquiry depends on the different psychological mechanisms of the students. Although studies have not shown that there is obviously related to learning motivation or effect on Spiritual Tai Chi course, the reason of psychological mechanisms is not only proved by quantitative research. To sample studies for qualitative method, therefore, will be fundamental viewpoint to see other possibilities.
