During this epidemic period, with the development of the Internet, ”online teaching” has become a trend. Learners do not have to be limited by time or space, so they get richer learning opportunities and resources. For teachers, stimulating motivation is both a means and an end, so ”motivation” has always been a very important topic in the teaching curriculum. The main purpose of this study is to verify whether online teaching in elementary schools has an impact on the learning motivation of fifth grade students, and to collect and analyze data by means of literature review and in-depth interviews. This research takes the fifth grade students of 00 elementary schools in Xinzhuang District, Xinbei city as the research object. Through literature discussion and practical experience, 15 interview questions are drawn up, and 10 students are randomly selected to conduct in-depth interviews in their spare time. Then the interviews are sorted and analyzed word for word. According to the analysis results of interview records, the following conclusions are obtained:1.Elementary school online teaching has an impact on the learning motivation of fifth grade students. After using the online teaching platform to integrate into teaching, teachers found that the current curriculum design is relatively rich, and can increase students' learning confidence and practice opportunities. The learning atmosphere in the classroom has changed from boring to lively and interesting. Compared with the frustration that students are often unable to answer questions before, the practice of using the learning platform can create a beautiful atmosphere for teachers and students to learn together.2.Teachers' use of online multiple resources can really assist physical teaching and achieve the purpose of effective teaching. Through the resources on the Internet, we can see more diversified learning contents. The learning materials are no longer limited to textbooks or the teaching of teachers in the classroom. We can not only enjoy the internationality, richness and interest, but also enjoy the fun of learning.3.There are differences in learning motivation between online teaching and physical teaching. In classroom teaching, textbooks and exercises are the main teaching materials, and textbooks are the central point of design; Online teaching is student-centered. Driven by the use of multiple teaching tools and the freshness of students' multimedia products, it will enhance students' learning motivation.4.Online teaching has different motivations for students of different genders. In terms of overall learning motivation, female students' learning motivation is slightly higher than that of male students. Female students can not only complete tasks, but also demand their own learning results. They will be more active in self-concept than male students.
