Abstract:	星雲大師的《玉琳國師》是一部影響深遠的小說，故事情節並不複雜，人物也相對單純。不過，單純的人物安排反而更加突出其重要性，其中最具關鍵的人物即為玉琳與其師兄玉嵐，二人分別為主、配角，並共同構成小說情節的緊湊性與張力。本文將採用胡亞敏《敘事學》中的線性敘事「複線結構」中的「主線」與「副線」人物安排，討論主角玉琳與主要配角玉嵐如何相互搭配，共同構成完整的小說情節。 Master Hsing Yun's “YuLin National Master” is a far-reaching novel. The plot is not complicated and the characters are relatively simple. However, the simple character arrangement highlights its importance. The most important characters are Yulin and his senior male Yulan. The two are the main and supporting roles, and together they constitute the compactness and tension of the plot of the novel. This article will adopt the character arrangement of the “main characters” and “auxiliary characters” in the linear narrative “double line structure” of Hu Yamin's “Narratives” to discuss how the protagonist Yulin and the main supporting role Yulan match each other to form a complete plot of the novel.
