“Intelligent Fire Fighting Towards the Future” - When the remote-controlled drone flies over the disaster site, it monitors the situation of the disaster site and takes real-time images of the disaster site, providing the commander with information such as the dynamics of the disaster situations and the location of the people to be rescued as a combat force deployment References to tactical use. This is not a dream. In Taiwan, firefighters who were responsible for rescue works were unfortunately killed or injured in the processes of rescuing hazards every year. In order to face this problem, the government has actively promoted the application of remote-controlled drones and other technological disaster relief methods to assist traditional firefighting. This study mainly explored the current situations of firefighters' awareness and application of remote-controlled drones, and discovered the effectiveness of remote-controlled drones in disaster rescues. Firstly, the drone pilots and related personnel in Chiayi County were selected to conduct interviews to explore the current situations and feasibility analyses of the application of remote-controlled drones in disaster rescues. After data collection and analyses, results showed that remote control drones could not only improve the overall disaster relief efficiency, but also grasp the golden rescue time. More importantly, remote control drones could improve the safety effectively for the first-line firefighters and disaster relief personnel and reduce the rescue time in the application of disaster sites.
