    Abstract: 本文以歌仔戲《新白蛇傳》與《白蛇寶卷》之探討為主，透過比較歌仔戲《新白蛇傳》裡白珍娘與《白蛇寶卷》中白素真婚戀觀之異同，溯源清代，分析其異同之成因——「傳統禮教的糾纏」和「婦女自覺新思潮的興起與省思」，認為足以為當代台灣庶民階層婦女婚戀觀的傾向——「有情有義、為愛犧牲」和「先進中含有保守」作解釋。
