摘要: | Between the end of 1960s and the1970s, the Green Party in Germany became one of a great deal of the rising ecological political parties. After the unification of Germany, combined with the former ecological political party in East Germany, the Green Party became “Bündnis 90/die Grünen”. From the beginning of 1998, both the Green Party and Socialist Democratic Party (SPD) are the Federal ruling parties of the Coalition Government, the so-called “Red-Green Coalition Government” (rot-grüne Koalition). The ecological political party, which is derived from Australia, can be regarded as a political group whose essentially political goal is the protection of environment. Nonetheless, the Green Party in Germany is indeed the most significant influential political party among them. Many modern political scholars are profoundly interested in studying the question of how successful the Green party is. Particularly, its ideology and appealing are rooted in human aspiration. Thus, the Green Party has provided this generation with the room of re-consideration of the survival of human beings. At the same time, the Green Party also has taken action for the livelihood of the next generation. The long formation of the ecological political party stems from many factors, such as the socialist movement and globalization, etc. This essay tends to explore the creation and development of the Green Party in Germany. The discussion of the essay will start with the myth of economic growth, and it will illustrate the opposite and confrontation of bipolar system within the international relations and the impact of the development of technology on the human culture. In addition, the inspiration of the New Social Movement indeed brought up the formation of green thinking and the emergence of the Green Party. By using these material, such as the platform of the Green Party and the political principles of election, this essay will classify its political ideology and analyze its theory, including Ecological Principle, Social Obligation, Basic Democracy, Non-violence Principle, Peaceful Policy, and Economic Policy of the Green Party. This essay will explain the success of the Green Party in German political environment and its cultural characteristics. And, this essay will evaluate its impact on the German party politics and the globalized green movement. The end of the Cold War does not mean that permanent peace has begun. However, it is replaced by the moral, ethnic, regional confrontations and conflicts. With the end of these events of the Gulf war and Kosovar war, the emergence of the New World Order reveals that the focus is on the issues of the future international conflict and the distribution of resource, specifically, the new development in the First World and the Third World. It seems that the direction of Green can be positively an agenda of dealing with the issues of conflict and distribution. Green, if it is not a political party, is not only an ideal but also a practical action in the twenty-first century. |
