Abstract:	歐洲文化深受希臘文化的影響，舉凡文學、藝術、建築、政治、等等，尤其是至今仍然呼聲不絕於耳的民主政治，全球性的女權運動，都可從希臘文化中見到端倪並觀察到深受其影響。本文試圖從古希臘聞名的一男一女兩位詩人：阿卡額司（Alcaeus of Mytilene）和莎芙（Sappho）來分析比較他們的生平作品的異同、創新，並從中窺視其所反映出的希臘文明，對今日歐洲文化的影響。
