    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討台灣傳統建築物上的動物裝飾圖飾，藉由文獻探討實地訪查、圖像分析得知台灣傳統建築物所裝飾之動物類別及造型甚多，各異其趣且具吉祥意象。其裝飾之動物有：龍、鰲魚、鳳凰、麒麟、獅子、鴿子、贔屭、鴞鳥等，其故事情節為宗教故事、典故小說等圖示。而本研究將分散文獻加以彙整分析，使之系統化與完整化。
