Abstract:	地方產業與社區總體營造之間具有密不可分的連帶關係，台灣過去傳統產業因為工商業發展的強勢主導之下，造成過去在社區間日常生活的產業活動也慢慢地消逝，傳統的生產技術更被視為沒落的行業，傳統社會中人與人之間的關係似乎也慢慢地被解離，人與土地之間親密的關係，似乎也不再像過去那麼地被受到尊重。本文針對屏東縣萬丹鄉香社社區生產之「天地掃帚」為例，研究方法包含文獻研究、資料蒐集、田野調查與商品開發之操作模擬；調查地方產業商品化的可行性，歸納出社區居民未來生產地方產業運作之策略方法；最後並提出以地方產業與社區總體營造的可持續發展資源。
